Scharbeutz has learned a raft of new leisure activities: Chilling in the Baltic Sea lounge, beach volleyball on the activities beach and adventure golf on the dune golf course are all as much part of a holiday itinerary as sunbathing on the fine, white, sandy beach or a dip in the cool, clear waters of the Baltic Sea. White and virtually stone-free, the beach slopes gently into the turquoise, glittering waters of the Baltic Sea, making it ideal for children and for sports and games in the water.

The new, gently-curving promenade with its viewing points, cafés in the heart of the dune landscape and shops, as well as the pier area are the ideal location for a shopping trip with a sea view and an opportunity to spend some time just relaxing and enjoying the surroundings.

The activities beach is a major attraction on the Scharbeutz pier. With its grandstand and lots of space for sport, parties and fun beach activities, it's the recreational and social centrepiece of the resort. The nearby areas still offer plenty of space for tranquillity, however, for dreaming on the beach or for digging in the sand - until the Baltic Sea invites you in for another swim.
